How do I register?

If you are new to MedSource China, please click Register, select Country, select Membership type, complete registration and submit. (Optional fields are marked OPTIONAL). You will receive a verification code in your e-mail box. To verify your registered email address, simply follow the instructions.

How many kinds of membership are there at MedSource China?

There are free Registered Members and there are two kinds of paid memberships: Power Users & Premier Suppliers

  • Power Users have full and complete access to all information and data about Suppliers and Distributors
  • Premier Suppliers information and products are available to all paid and free registered members
  • Free Registered  members can view all product and supplier data except e-mail addresses, fax & phone numbers and zip codes. All free registered members can view all available data for Suppliers to the Industry and can always view all information from Premier Suppliers.

What are Premium Suppliers?

MedSource China’s Premium Suppliers are companies that have made a commitment to exports by advertising on the MedSource China Website and are established companies.

What can I do if I forget my password?

To obtain a new password, simply click here.

How can I change my password?

To change your password, please take the following steps:

  • Login in with your current password
  • Click “Update My Password” in My Profile.
  • Input your current password in "Current Password" and then input and confirm your new password, as well as your secret answer
  • Submit when done

What can I do if I forget my Member ID?

Your Member ID is your e-mail address.

Can I change my Member ID?

For security reasons, each MedSource China account is exclusive to an individual Member ID. However, you can create a new Member ID by re-registering at www.MedSourceChina.com. If you will no longer be using your original account and Member ID, please send an e-mail to customer service to inform us, and we will deactivate the old membership account for you.

How can I cancel my membership?

To stop receiving any e-mails from MedSource China go to your profile and click on clear all subscriptions.

Why can't I change my registered country/territory?

Please be aware that MedSource China does not allow our members to change their country or territory registration independently. If the country or territory that you registered is no longer an accurate description of your primary business location, please send your suggested modification to Customer Service. Our customer service team will then make the change for you.

Why am I having problems signing in?

If you receive an error message when signing in, please check for the following possible causes:

  • You have not confirmed your e-mail address
  • You have entered an invalid ID or password.
  • Make sure that "Caps Lock" is not on, and that you have not included any blank spaces after your Member ID or password.
  • Internal server error.
  • Your account has been disabled. If you see this message then your account has been disabled due to inactivity or other cause, as explained in our service terms. For assistance, please contact Customer Service.

How can I keep my account secure?

To keep your MedSource China account secure, please bear in mind the following points:

  • Choose a password that is easy for you to remember but difficult for others to guess. Passwords are case sensitive and can include numbers and characters (e.g.: 11hyber23).
  • Change your password when necessary. If at any time you become concerned about the security of your password, you can always change it online. For more information about how to change your password, please read "How can I change my password?"
  • Choose your Password Question and Secret Answer wisely. If you provide a Password Question and Answer during registration, make sure that you have chosen an answer that you will remember, but which will also be difficult for others to guess from your Password Question.
  • Always sign out completely. If you use a public or shared computer, it's important that you always sign out completely at the end of each session by clicking the "Sign Out" link. Doing this will remove the possibility that another person could use the same computer to view the contents of your account.

Why can't I find buyers or sellers email addresses?

We do not display our members email addresses on the site. This minimizes the risk of members receiving spam or viruses. You can send your message by simply clicking "Inquire Now"

How do I perform a search?

Keyword Serch Tips: When conducting a Keyword Search on MedSource China, please take note of the following tips:

  • Use common words
  • Describe exactly what you're looking for (i.e. "surgical instrument").
  • If results are unsatisfactory, reduce the number of words (i.e. "Instrument instead of "surgical instrument ").
  • Avoid keywords which are too specific or specialized, for example "Rogeirs retractor".
  • Only search one product at a time.
  • Don't include a country/region's name in your search (for example: instrument China).
  • Don't include the word "buyer" or "seller" in your keyword phrase (for example: instrument buyer).
  • Use quotation marks
  • To return exact results, use quotation marks (i.e. "surgical instrument"). If results are unsatisfactory, try again without quotation marks (i.e. surgical instrument).
  • You can also search the main keyword only (i.e. instrument instead of surgical instrument).

Basic Search Tips: You can also conduct your search via Trade Leads, Product Catalogs and Company Lists.

How do I list my Company if it is not already listed?

Click here and follow the steps outlined in the form.

How do I Post a new Product if my company is already listed?

You must be registered user on MedSource China. Go to "Administrative section" in "MedSource China" and click "Post a New Product." When you get to the "Post a New Product" page, fill in all the required information and click "Submit" when done.
You will receive a message telling you that your product(s) have been submitted to our editing team. Products, upon approval, are published on MedSource China.com within 24 hours.

Once your products are approved you can choose to display them or not. The "Manage Products" table is where you can manage which products you wish to display. If they are not approved (i.e., it requires you to submit more information), the status will be shown on your "My MedSource China" homepage in the "Require Editing" section.

This approval process applies to all postings on MedSource China.com, including, Company Profile, Products, Buying Leads and Selling Leads.

How do I Manage my Products?

To edit your products, go to "My MedSource China." In the "Manage Products" section, you can view all of your products status at any time. They are classified under three sections:

  • "Require Editing" - those products which have been rejected by MedSource China and require you to edit them
  • "Waiting for Approval" - includes products that have been posted but have yet to be approved. The approval process usually takes 24 hours.
  • "Approved" - includes those products which are on display and those which are not on display. You can choose which products you wish to display.

Please note: You may edit or delete only products currently located in "Requires Editing" and "Approved" sections.

Note: Photos must be in JPG or GIF format and no larger than 100K.

How do I Post a New Selling Lead?
 
Go to "My MedSource China." In the "Manage Selling Leads" section, you can view the status of all of your Selling Leads at any time. They are classified under four sections:
"Require Editing" - Selling Leads which have been rejected by MedSource China and require editing.
"Waiting for Approval" - includes Selling Leads which have been posted but have yet to be approved by MedSource China's staff. The approval process usually takes 24 hours.
"Published" - Selling Leads approved by MedSource China staff and published on MedSource China.com
"Expired" - These Selling Leads will be deleted 2 weeks after expiration date
Please note: You are able to edit/delete or re-post only Selling Leads currently located in "Require Editing" or "Published" or "Expired" sections.

Why can't I post my Selling Lead?

If you are experiencing problems posting Selling Leads, please make sure you have followed the correct procedure.
If you are still unable to post your Selling Lead, please check for the following possible causes:

  • You did not input all required information (indicated by *): Please insure that all required fields have been completed.
  • Unable to select industry category, because your server is not enabled for Java: Click "Tools" on the menu bar of the browser;  Select "Internet Options"; Click the "Security" tag; In the "Security" section, you can select "Default" to restore the settings, or select "Customize" to set the JavaScript as enabled. After your browser has been enabled to support JavaScript, you can complete the form.
  • The network is experiencing difficulties: Please try again later to post your trade lead. If you still require help with posting your trade lead, please contact Customer Service by sending us your Member ID and the error message, and we will follow up.

Note: Photos must be in JPG or GIF format and no larger than 100K.

Why can't I find the Selling Lead that I posted on the site?

If you are unable to locate your trade lead on MedSource China, please check for the following possible causes:

  • Make sure that you are searching correctly. For quickest results, search for your trade lead by inputting keywords that you entered when posting. Select "Trade Leads", and then click "Search" and your product should be listed in the Search Results.
  • If your Selling Lead was posted within the last twenty four hours, then it is still being processed by our editing team and should appear on the site shortly. You will be notified by email when your Selling Lead posting is published.
  • Make sure that you have not posted your Selling Leads in "Product Catalog" rather than "Trade Leads."

If you still experience difficulties, please send an email to Customer Service, including your Member ID and the subject of your trade lead, and we will follow up.

How do I Post a New Buying Lead?

  • Sign-in at "Login MedSource China"; click "Post a New Buying Lead."
  • Fill in the Buying Lead form with all essential information including your desired product, price and amount.
  • Finally, we suggest you attach a photo of your desired product.
  • When complete, click "Submit".

Subject: A striking and concise subject will enhance your chance to be searched. Please do not list insignificant adjectives, such as "high quality" "beautiful", or list many products.

Keyword: keyword is the most efficient and direct way for other users to find your info. So you'd better fill in each blank with one word or phrase, like product name, etc. (It will appear as the title of this trade lead when it is published online.) (Appropriate keywords will help suitable customers to find your products. Please provide a relevant keyword or phrase.)

Category: select the most relevant category. Buyers look for products by category. A precise category will enhance your chance to be found easily.

Details: The first sentence is quite important. So it is a good idea to generalize your product or service first. And don't forget to provide the detailed information, like material, size, performance, place of origin, certificate etc. to attract your potential business partners. To avoid spam please don't put your e-mail, company address, and telephone and fax number here.

Quality & Packaging: provide quantity, packaging information and how long is this lead effective for to show that you are serious.
Attach Product Photo: Upload from your computer directly (max 100K, in JPG or GIF format).

Please ensure your member information is correct. To modify, please go to "My Profile". After completing the Buying Lead form, you will receive a message telling you that your Buying Lead has been submitted to our editing team and is pending approval. If your information is approved, it will be published on MedSource China within 24 hours.
If it is not approved (i.e., it requires you to submit more information) the status will be shown on your "My MedSource China" homepage, and an email will be sent to you informing you that your Buying Lead requires editing. (Please note: This approval process applies to all postings to MedSource China.com, including Company Profile, Products, Buying Leads and Selling Leads)

MedSource China reserves the right to make minor modifications to the content.

How to subscribe to Product Alerts?

If you are already a MedSource China member, please login, go to Product Alerts, and click Subscribe.

Follow the instructions to set up your Product Alerts preferences. Once you have completed the process, you will receive Product Alerts by email as soon as new content matching your preferences is published online at MedSource China.

If you are not yet a MedSource China member, you are strongly recommended to join MedSourceChina and subscribe to Product Alerts.
 
How to unsubscribe from Product Alerts?

If you are subscribed as a member, please Login, go to Product Alerts, and click Unsubscribe / simply follow the instructions to Unsubscribe. You may also unsubscribe by clicking the "Unsubscribe" link in any of the Product Alerts emails you received at your registered email address.
 
Why am I not receiving Product Alerts?

Please check for the following possible causes:

  • Make sure that your registered email address is available.
  • Can you receive other emails from MedSource China? If not, our email address is possibly screened by your mail server.
  • Can you receive emails from other email servers? If not, there might be something wrong with your receive server.
  • Do you have enough space to receive our email? The size of Product Alerts is about 80K.
